The island is almost situated on the outer edge of the Atoll, and it's lucky enough to have quick access to great dive-sites.
The house reef is very good for snorkeling and diving. Since Bathala is specifically targeted at Divers, the
rhythms of the resort reflect the schedule of the divers: morning dive, lunch, afternoon dive, shower, relax on the beach, beer, dinner, bed. For this reason, there is not a big take-up of the organised excursions, or for nightlife. The basic service areas and the bungalows are designed in round domes with thatched roofs and
give the simple look of cottages.
All 37 bungalows are individually situated giving total privacy with attached toilets and air conditioning
whilst eight are of luxury class fitted also with mini bar. The resort has a reception, restaurant, bar, coffee
shop, boutique. Sport facilities are diving, snorkeling, dhoni-sailing, fishing, table tennis, volleyball and
badminton. Some times evening events are organized.
